In collaboration with the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta, AlabamaGermany Partnership is proud to offer a 6 hour cross-cultural workshop:
Thursday, October 13, 2016
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Birmingham
The objective of this program is to introduce American and German business executives to the fundamental cultural issues that arise when dealing with each other at both a professional and personal level, focusing on the dos and don’ts of interpersonal communication and the reasons informing workplace habits.
Participants will be given the opportunity to discuss in an open forum, moderated by Goethe-Zentrum trainers, any previous experiences in interacting with opposite cultural partner, providing an invaluable opportunity to learn not only from the experts, but also from one-another.
The workshop will further include a language component in which participants will acquire basic phrases, useful for both initial encounters with business partners or colleagues, and for building ongoing relationships. These will include basic greetings, a guide how to address each other appropriately, and a few questions and answers that will serve as “ice-breakers” and conversation starters.
The workshop will include refreshments and lunch. Don't miss your spot - register today!
