Join us on November 4th for our annual Fall Watershed Tour. During the tour, we will explore a newly constructed wetland, visit an archeological site, and discover the history of New Straitsville. The tour begins at 10 a.m. and will conclude around 2 p.m. There is a suggested $10 donation per attendee. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP by November 1st to ensure you have a meal.

Tour Details | The tour will include three stops.
• See what we're doing to prevent toxic aluminum from entering Monday Creek with a stop at our newest treatment project. Over a thousand native wetland plants were installed with the help of volunteers this past spring.
• Learn about prehistoric settlement and horticulture in the Hocking Valley as we visit an excavated site by the Ohio Archaeological Field School - presented by Dr. Paul Patton, Ohio University and Ann Cramer, Wayne National Forest
• Visit the new site of the New Straitsville History Museum and explore a replica coal mine, a 100 year old pipe organ, and more while learning about the history of the village of New Straitsville, led by the New Straitsville History Group.
