Join us for a fun evening of wine and food - and conversations about food - with authors Lucinda Scala Quinn and Jane Green.
Tuesday, October 25 at 6:30 p.m.
Lucinda Scala Quinn is the author of Mad Hungry: Feeding Men and Boys, and is the country’s foremost evangelist for family meals every day of the week. Lucinda is the former senior vice president and executive editorial director of food and entertaining at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and the host of her own television show, Mad Hungry: Bringing Back the Family Meal, and she co-hosted Everyday Food on PBS for six years. She'll be talking about her new book, Mad Hungry Family: 120 Essential Recipes to Feed the Whole Crew.
Jane Green, a former journalist in the UK and a graduate of the International Culinary Center in New York, is the New York Times bestselling author of eighteen novels, including Falling. Home and family are at the heart of every Jane Green novel—whether set in a ramshackle cottage, a chic city apartment, a weathered beach bungalow, or a stately manor. And they also take center stage in her new cookbook, Good Taste: Simple, Delicious Recipes for Family and Friends, where she shares tips on entertaining, ideas for making any gathering a cozy and classy affair, and some of her favorite dishes.
Tickets are $15, with proceeds to benefit the Library.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a wine and appetizer reception.
Appetizers generously provided by Mario the Baker, Myrna's Kitchen, and Table 104.
