The debate will air live on WPEC CBS12 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the West Palm Beach television market, which is comprised of households in Palm Beach, St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River, and Okeechobee Counties. It is the 38th largest television market in the nation including 825 thousand TV Households and more than 1.5 million Adults 18+.

This is the third debate produced and hosted by the PBN Chamber of Commerce. Palm Beach State College’s Student Government Association will serve as a co-host mentored by the PBN Chamber of Commerce. In 2014, the PBN Chamber of Commerce produced and hosted the only District 18 Congressional Debate with an audience, and in 2012 the County Commission, District 1 Debate.

“We are thrilled to be producing yet another debate of Congressional District 18 candidates,” says PBN Chamber of Commerce CEO Beth Kigel.  “This District represents Palm Beach North communities as well as the Treasure Coast which have unique needs, challenges and opportunities. This is a great opportunity for voters and the greater community to understand where each candidate stands on these important topics as well as those of national impact.”

The presenting sponsor of the District 18 Congressional Debate is Hanley Center Foundation. Supporting this debate is facility host Palm Beach State College Palm Beach Gardens Campus, and WPEC’s parent company Sinclair Broadcasting. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available.
