VJJA Capital District Training Opportunity: Stress and Burnout Prevention: Saving Our Valued Staff

Working in the field of Criminal Justice, Social Work, Police Science, Probation and Parole; either in the adult or juvenile field, we all encounter STRESS.  Whether it is with our work loads, the people we serve or simply balancing our work and personal life.  Working in the Public Service field can bring you joy but it also can bring you pain.  Stressors can make the job harder.  This training describes what public service workers deal with in the course of their work day. This training will show staff how important their mental and physical health is to the existence of the services they provide to others. Stress and burnout is preventable but saving our staff is even more important.

National Speaker, Jennifer Gauthier, Founder and Executive Director of Lead4Life will be our headline presenter, along with two of Richmond's very own, Priscilla Wright with Richmond Justice Services and Jimmy Christmas with River City Comprehensive Counseling Services.

This training is for every line worker, supervisor and administrator.  We all need to do our part to save our valued staff.  Why keep watching them walk out the door when you have the power to recognize and prevent.  Say "No More!"  to losing good staff.  Register today!
