The 2016 Young ICD Connection 

Come join us for our 20 year event celebrating and educating those touched by ICDs. Our goal is to educate in a festive yet relaxed atmosphere while connecting with others who share similar experiences. This event is free of charge and graciously sponsored by Medtronic, Inc., Biotronik, St. Jude Medical and Boston Scientific.

8:30 - 9:00 am - Registration & Continental Breakfast 

9:00 - 10:00 am  - Welcome and Perspectives from Special Guests

9:15 - 11:30 am -  Maize & Blue Group (8th grade & under): Activities from North Star Reach Camp

10:15 - 11:30 am - Adults - Break Out for Support Sessions
                                 A. Women’s group: Women with ICDs over 18
                                 B. Men’s group:  For the Guys with ICDs
                                 C. Parents of ICD Patients Group
                                 D. Family and Friends Group

12:30 - 1:15 pm - EVERYONE will travel to the BIG HOUSE for lunch and tours!

   

1:15 -2:15 pm - Keynote Speaker:  Peter Aziz, MD, FHRS, Director, Inherited Arrhythmia Clinic, Pediatric Electrophysiology, Cleveland Clinic Children's Assistant Professor, Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine

    Maize & Blue Groups (8th grade & under): Will be touring the Big House and playing on the field

2:15 -4:00 pm - Touring BIG HOUSE & locker room with GROUP PHOTO on the field; bus back to Ann Arbor City Club
