In a LEED v4 Materials Quandary?

Solutions Through Collaboration

OVERVIEW:

LEED v4 comes with a new set of challenges regarding the Materials and Resources Building Product Disclosure and Optimization (BPDO) crdits and the Indoor Environmental Quality Low-Emitting Materials credit. How do project teams incorporate compliant BPDO materials and Low-Emitting Materials product information into the product documents and how do Contractors efficiently complete LEED documentation?

An ad hoc group of design and construction professioals has collaborated on a set of shared LEED v4 focused specifications to help meet the new Materials and Low-Emitting credit requirements. Three diverse experts representing the group will discuss their experiences managing the LEED v4 materials credits.

The presenters will share the tools and processes they developed to incorporate thenew materials requirements into the specifications and examine case studies, with an emphasis on how team collaboration is key in successfully completing LEED v4 projects.
