WHO: Calling all K-12th grade fans of the royal game of CHESS! Seasoned veterans and absolute beginners alike are invited to participate in the Titan Tournament.

WHAT: A new NWSRS-rated qualifying tournament for the 2017 OSCF State Championship. Swiss system pairings.

Five rounds and G/30 d5 time controls for U900 and unrated K-8, clocks and notation optional.

Four rounds and G/45 d5 time controls for 900+ and unrated 9-12, clocks and notation required.
 

Check In for U1200, and 1200+ Sections: 7:30AM - 8AM
Start Time: 8:15AM   End Time: ~4:30PM

Check In for U600, and U900 Sections: 8:15AM – 8:45AM
Start Time: 9:00AM   End Time: ~4:30PM

COST: Early bird by Nov. 13^th, $20 per player, or $25 regular. Register by Thursday, November 17^th.  Sorry, no on-site registration.

AWARDS: One - first, second and third place trophy will be given in each section along with plus score medals, all-tournament sportsmanship trophies, and team trophies (top 4 player scores). Computer determines tiebreaks. 

Snack shop on-site will be open all day.  Pizza will be available for pre-purchase online, or cash purchase on site.
