According to research done by the Institute for Women's Policy Research (IWPR), if current trends continue women in Missouri will not see equal pay until the year 2066.
Meanwhile many women are trapped in low-income jobs with little hope of breaking into the higher
wage trades traditionally dominated by men.
Jenn Wall was one of those women until she became a part of the Women’s Economic Stability Initiative. Today, Jenn is an electrical systems designer, financially secure while raising her six-year- old son
and contemplating graduate school.
Learn more about the status of low wage work for women, work-related barriers and the work being done in our community to address these issues.
