EYE 2017 

This year's Episcopal Youth Event, EYE17, will be held in partnership with the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma from July 10-14, 2017 on the campus of the University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond. Youth currently enrolled in 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade during this 2016-2017 school year are encouraged to apply.
When and where is EYE being held?
EYE is July 10-14 at University of Central Oklahoma in Edmund, OK. 
There will be Mandatory Delegate Meetings via webcam/conference call and/or in-person for those youth and adults chosen to attend. Time and place of meetings TBA.

What is EYE?
The Episcopal Youth Event (EYE) is a triennial event for young people put on by the Episcopal Church. It serves as a celebration to inspire a deeper faith in Jesus Christ, and a renewed commitment to mission and ministry. It is the second largest event in the Episcopal Church and the single largest youth event in the Episcopal Church. EYE is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purposely gather with 1200+ other faithful young people form across the Episcopal Church for three very full days of worship, sharing, praying, learning, singing, and working between the arrival and departure days. 

Who goes to EYE?
EYE is for young people who have completed grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 by spring of the event year and have not already attended college. Participants must apply and register through their diocese. EYE is also attended by numerous staff, resource people, and bishops. Applicants should be members of an Episcopal church in the Diocese of Iowa, emotionally mature, and capable of being a responsible member of the Iowa delegation. Space is limited and applications will be reviewed in the order they are received.

How much does it cost to go to EYE?
Youth Delegate Cost $550
Diocese of Iowa budget -$200
Participant responsibility $350 (Consider asking for a donation from your parish and/or fundraising.)

Cost includes: registration, program, lodging, meals, t-shirt, and all transportation. Families that need further scholarship assistance are encouraged to start by talking to their home congregations. Delegates should also plan to bring spending money for meals during travel, snack, and souvenirs.

How do I apply?
Please fill out all this registration form before January 1, 2017.
$100 Deposits must be received by February 1, with the remainder due April 1 if selected. Deposits are refundable if you are not selected as a delegate.
