Comprehensive Indirect Cost Rate Training
Is your agency planning to change to an Indirect Cost Rate (ICR) in order to comply with the State of Illinois Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA)? Are you ready for this new methodology of applying administrative costs? Or do you already have an indirect cost rate and would like more training? If so, this session is for you.
IACAA will be hosting a "Comprehensive Indirect Cost Rate Training" to be provided by WIPFI's expert on the topic, Karl Eck, CPA. This training will overview the types of ICR, some of the advantages and disadvantages of using an ICR, and the calculation and application process. Then WIPFLI is going to take this training one step further and explore how do you use and record the transactional data, how to reconcile at the end of a program, how do you track and report your indirect costs, and answer your questions on implementing this new methodology. Participants will also have to opportunity to work through indirect cost rate examples.
