Building Up Breakfast
Mutual Housing California has been building, operating and advocating for sustainable housing that builds strong communities for more than 25 years. Come join us for one inspiring hour to hear resident stories about the ways that Mutual Housing is changing lives.
We think we'll inspire you to support our efforts – here’s a preview of what we’ve been up to:
- Continued to provide safe and healthy housing for more than 3,000 people who reflect the diversity of our Sacramento region including working families, immigrants, seniors, veterans, persons with disabilities, and formerly homeless
- Received first LEED Platinum certification for multi-family affordable housing in Woodland, for Mutual Housing at Spring Lake
- Completed green renovations of 98 homes in Mutual Housing at Foothill Farms
- Were awarded $3 million in USDA funding for phase II of Mutual Housing at Spring Lake, the first zero-net energy certified rental housing in the nation
- Trained college ambassadors in three mutual housing communities to grow Culture of College where resident members have the resources and inspiration to access, enroll, and succeed in college
There is no charge for this event however, RSVP is necessary.
