Introductory QuickBooks Training

Join us for training on QuickBooks 15 for Windows PC desktop .  Four sessions are offered for users who want to learn from the beginning how to set up a company, pay bills, invoice customers, reconcile their bank accounts and use QuickBooks as a tool to help manage their business.  We will be reviewing the related accounting concepts associated with the QuickBooks functions to help attendees understand why the functions are done the way they are. 

The four sessions will cover:

-  Wednesday, 10/26   How to set up a company in QuickBooks – how to set up chart of accounts, create users and passwords and items.

-  Wednesday, 11/02   Vendor Center – how to set up vendors, enter vendor bills, pay bills via check and credit card, categorize expenses and cost of sale items.

-  Wednesday, 11/09   Customer Center – how to set up customers, prepare customer invoices and cash sales, recording customer payments via cash, check and credit cards, categorizing deposits and income items.

-  Wednesday, 11/16   Reporting and reconciliations – how to reconcile bank accounts and credit cards, how to use balance sheet and profit and loss statements to analyze data entry and business activity.

Who will benefit from seminar:

Businesses using or planning to use QuickBooks software for their accounting system.  This program will feature QuickBooks Desktop version 2015 for Windows PC.  While some concepts may translate to Mac, others will not.  The concepts from this class will not be applicable to QuickBooks Online.
