Who should attend? Business Administrators and Treasurers
On May 18, 2016, the Department of Labor communicated a significant change to the overtime regulations under the Fair Labor Standards Act. These changes, effective as of December 1, 2016, have caused many questions in the LCMS community.
Human Resource Workshop – (Morning Session 9:30 am – 12:00 noon) *LIVE STREAM
We have invited Adam Treiger, Attorney At Law, to walk us through the impact of this new law to our business. If time allows, he will also discuss “Termination of employment on religious grounds” regarding human resources. We will go through the financials for Convention Assessment, Congregation Remittances and the 2017 Salary Guidelines.
