Recognizing Everyone's Strengths by Peace building, Empathizing, Communicating and Trust building

RESPECT is a free, four-day workshop focused on training participants in relationship building and conflict resolution. The skills and strategies taught at this training workshop can be applied universally when addressing professional and personal conflict.

Wapello RESPECT Training is presented by ASK Resource Center in partnership with Great Prairie AEA and Upper Iowa University, and is funded by the Iowa Dept. of Education and the Parent Training and Information Center grant from the U.S. Dept. of Education, #H328M1490017, Project Officer, David Emenheiser.

  • Meals and training materials provided
  • Stipends: Two types of stipends are available to offset the cost of travel and other expenses associated with attending the training. $50 per day parent stipends are paid directly to you, and $100 per day educator stipends are paid directly to your district.
