You are invited to the Official Launch of PSESP by the Honorable Federal Minister of Health, Prof Issac. F. Adewole, and Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Chair, Dangote Foundation and Malaria Ambassador.
The National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP), of the Federal Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Dangote Foundation is excited to announce the launch of the strategy report titled “Engaging the Private Sector to Eliminate Malaria in Nigeria”. This document, a result of months of planning, surveys and deliberations with key private sector leaders and important stakeholders, highlights the priority areas for private sector support in the fight against malaria as well as a strategy for private sector engagement and steps for implementation.
Nigeria has 25% of the world’s disease burden of malaria and reports more deaths due to the disease than any other country in the world. Malaria is responsible for a significant number of deaths of women and children every year. It also accounts for 60% of outpatient hospital visits and 30% of hospital admissions. An estimated US$1.1 billion is lost annually in Nigeria due to malaria-related absenteeism and treatment costs.
We invite you to join us as the final report is formally launched by the Honourable Minister of Health, Professor Isaac F. Adewole and Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Chair of the Dangote Foundation and Nigerian Malaria Ambassador.
The Anadach Group is organizing this Launch on behalf of the National Malaria Elimination Program and the Dangote Foundation. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Busola Shonowo at email@example.com
We look forward to seeing you at this meeting, which could be crucial to helping to resolve a key health issue in the country.
