Mike Coffey is an experienced capital markets intelligence professional with 20+ years in the industry.  In his role as Vice President, Co-Head of Advisory at Q4, Mike acts as an extension of his client’s IR team by providing comprehensive intelligence solutions including: stock surveillance, capital markets intelligence, trading analytics, activist watch, options intelligence, ad hoc reporting, and more.

Mike began his career in 1995 at Northern Trust and in 1998 joined Grabill-Bloom, a pioneering firm in stock surveillance, where he worked with some of the most well-respected IR Programs in the United States. Following the sale of Grabill-Bloom to Thomson Financial, Mike spent 7 years as Vice President of its Corporate Client Group.

In 2005, Mike joined Bloom Partners as a founding partner, where he was instrumental in helping to grow this highly-respected boutique stock surveillance firm. Acquired in 2008 by NASDAQ, Mike was appointed Managing Director of NASDAQ’s Global Corporate Services group – a position he held until he left to co-found of Oxford Intelligence Partners, a Capital Markets Intelligence firm which was acquired by Q4 in 2015.

Mike lives in Chicago with his wife of 20 years and three kids. Mike graduated with a BS in Finance from Illinois State.
