Guatemala Adult Pilgrimage 2017

For over fifteen years, adults from St. Pat’s have been traveling to Guatemala to gain a better understanding of our place in the global Catholic community. We have found so much more.

This spring, St. Pat's is offering an adult pilgrimage to Coban Guatemala to deliver water filters and experience the beauty and faith of our friends at Resurrection Priory. The pilgrimage is a 6-7 day trip with flexibility for adults to choose activities and schedules that best fit their interests and comfort level.  The first 4 days of the trip will be spent in Coban Guatemala.  Activities in Coban include travel to remote mountain villages (called aldeas) to distribute water filters, opportunities to celebrate Mass and prayer at the monastery and in aldeas, and other OPTIONAL cultural and faith building experiences in Coban (Cathedral tour, coffee plantation, hike to water falls, visit a local hospital, shopping in authentic Guatemalan markets, etc.) The last few days of the trip are spent in Antigua, Guatemala, a beautiful tourist town with additional opportunities to learn about and experience the Guatemalan culture.
