SMRO BPS Training-2 days -Units 1-4; Dec 19, 20, & 21, 2016
Training is from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm each day. Please try to arrive between 8:45am - 9:00 am each day so we can start early and leave on time.

BPS is only available for DDA Staff at Licensed Provider Agencies
Day 1 - Monday, Dec. 19, 2016 9:00 am - 5:00 pm;
Day 2- 1st Option - Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016 - 9 am - 5:00 pm
Day 2- 2nd Option - Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016 - 9 am - 5:00 pm

This course will cover Units I - IV of the Behavioral Principles and Strategies (BPS) Curriculum. Participants will be able to receive a certificate for completing training. Because not all agencies use restrictive techniques, two types of certificates are offered: completion of Units 1-3, and completion of Units 1-4 (which includes the restrictive techniques.
Agencies who have a restraint free policy will not need to have their staff complete Unit IV, and will be able to leave at about lunch time on day two.
Because there are strict guidelines for attendance with physical techniques on day 2, Agencies will only be able to send up to 3 people to training. Since there is no charge for this training, we must make it available to multiple agencies.
