Thank you for your interest in supporting the respite programs of the Northern Nevada RAVE Family Foundation (NNRFF)! The NNRFF provides center-based respite care to families who care for children, teens, and young adults with special needs, disabilities, or those in foster care. Additionally, the NNRFF provides respite reimbursement for families who are unable to participate in center-based respite care. Since its inception in 1995, the NNRFF has touched an astonishing number of lives: over 2,000 children, 1,000 families, 259,000 respite hours, 1000 youth volunteers who have provided 83,000 direct service volunteer hours have contributed to our success. The NNRFF's unique combination of meeting two community needs - respite care and a youth development program; creates an innovative and successful fusion. Families receive the "gift of time" and high school students participate in a program that gives them a positive afterschool outlet for their energies in a productive and supportive enviornment, which helps them develop the skills sets they need to become successful, community focused adults and future leaders.
