This seminar will highlight the context and experiences of transition-age youth and young adults living with mental health conditions. Dr. Munson will describe two intervention programs that incorporate recovery role models to improve engagement and overall health and wellness of young adults. A discussion of the development of recovery role models who are mentors for young adults who have lived experience will follow. There will be time for comments and conversation.

The Systems and Psychosocial Advances Research Center (SPARC) is pleased to announce the SPARC Research Seminar Series. This series features leading scholars presenting their research, discussing emerging policy implications, and identifying future directions regarding mental health research. This series will serve as a forum to develop a cross disciplinary dialogue and establish collaboration with the aim of developing methods to improve the mental health of all citizens in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and beyond. Research Seminars will be held four times per year on Thursdays from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm in the Chang Building, 222 Maple Ave, Shrewsbury in Room 112.
