Why Training is Integral to DEN's DRBC Program

Please join us November 18th for our ACP chapter meeting! We are excitied to revisit one of our favorite locations, Denver International Airport (DEN).

Our presenter, Jason Taussig, leads the Training and Exercise Design Team within the DRBC Program at DEN. He will be sharing:

  • An overview of DEN's Training and Exercise Designs philosophy
  • Advice for soliciting organizational and leadership support
  • Guidelines for encouraging participation and the "value added" concept between DEN and its stakeholders and partners
  • The types and number of exercises DEN conducts on an annual basis
  • Lessons learned from the recent National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) exercise facilitated by DEN

Jason Taussig has worked for DEN for the last 10 years. The Training and Exercise Design Team he leads conducts over 30 All-Hazard Exercises and Trainings each year. Jason holds a Master of Science Degree in Aviation with a specialization in Education Technology and Safety Sciences and a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Science. He holds a number of professional certifications including being certified in Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Programs.
