A Friends Author Series Event

Culinary guru Dorie Greenspan will share secrets

from her new book, DORIE'S COOKIES.

Thursday, December 15 at 6:30 p.m.

Main Library, DiMattia Building

Cookie lovers everywhere can now rejoice with this mouthwatering all-new collection from Dorie Greenspan, the baker that The New York Times calls a “revered icon” and “culinary guru.”

Join us for an evening of cheer and fun and hear some sweet and savory baking secrets from New York Times best-selling food author Dorie Greenspan.

Over the course of her renowned baking career, Dorie has created more than 300 cookie recipes. Yet she has never written a book about them—until now. DORIE’S COOKIES is an iconic and thoroughly comprehensive collection that will have bakers rushing into the kitchen and preheating their ovens at very first glance. The outstanding selection of 170 recipes here is sure to grant any cookie wish. Bakers will find cookies in every size and shape for every taste and occasion, plus every cookie from her insanely popular former cookie shop Beurre & Sel.

A three-time James Beard Foundation award-winner for her cookbooks and magazine articles, Dorie has collaborated with many celebrated chefs,
among them Julia Child (Dorie wrote Baking with Julia), Daniel Boulud and Pierre Hermé.

Tickets are $15 and include a wine and cheese reception and the opportunity to sample a selection of cookies baked using Dorie's recipes.
