Glass Railing Systems Boot Camp - January 26, 2017 

This interactive session will provide an overview of glass railing systems, covering typical applications, products types, code requirements, standard materials, and glazing methods.  The program includes a 1 hour technical presentation with a 2 hour hands on activity.

C.R. Laurence Company, Inc., worldwide manufacturer and supplier of architectural glazing products, will present an interactive session about current applications and issues with glass railing systems.   Participants will learn design considerations for glass railings:  typical applications, advantages of dry glazed vs traditional wet glazing techniques, installer-friendly systems, specifications, product manufacturer and installation criteria, and code standards.  Product types covered will include guard rails, hand rails, monolithic and laminated tempered glass systems, two-piece base shoe systems, and components.
