UMKC January 2017 Spring Orientation

Congratulations on your admission to the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC)!

We recommend that all admitted students attend Orientation prior to the start of Spring Semester 2017 classes.

Spring Orientation 2017 will take place Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 12:30pm-5:00pm at the UMKC Student Union. Registration is now open, and will close Friday, January 6, 2017.

Orientation is a great opportunity to learn about important deadlines for billing, financial aid, and scholarships; tour campus with other new students; and find out how to get involved, stay safe, and be healthy at UMKC.

Please note: Orientation will not include one on one academic advising sessions. You must meet with your Academic Advisor to enroll in classes before attending Spring Orientation. We encourage you to schedule an appointment with your Academic Advisor at your earliest convenience. Contact information is available here.

No meal will be provided during Spring Orientation. Plan to eat lunch before Orientation, and plan a great dinner afterward at the nearby Country Club Plaza or one of the restaurants surrounding campus.

Orientation registrants will be mailed a parking pass and campus map prior to the Spring Orientation date.
