The North Carolina GlaxoSmithKline Foundation and McREL International will be hosting three Question and Answer webinars about the Ribbon of Hope Program, eligibility, the application process, and reporting requirements in anticipation of the proposal deadline for Ribbon of Hope Grants, April 1, 2017.

The North Carolina GlaxoSmithKline Foundation invites your organization to submit a proposal to the North Carolina GlaxoSmithKline Foundation Ribbon of Hope Program. Organizations that have applied for Ribbon of Hope funding in the past are encouraged to submit a new or revised Ribbon of Hope proposal.

Ribbon of Hope grants support activities that advance science, health, and education in local communities across the state of North Carolina. The goal of the program is to have a positive impact on the lives of North Carolina’s citizens in each of the state’s 100 counties. The Foundation awards grants of $25,000 to North Carolina community-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations. Grantees will also benefit from technical assistance provided by the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits. These grants provide organizations with a one-time opportunity to develop a new initiative or to expand and/or enhance an existing project.

Established North Carolina community-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations may apply.

Please note:

• Individuals, faith-based organizations, and fraternal organizations are ineligible. 
• No grants are made for general operating, construction or restoration projects, or for the provision of medical services or medications.
• Organizations cannot receive more than one Ribbon of Hope grant.
