Includes morning coffee and muffin at the Arboretum before departure, round trip transportation to Seattle, entrance fee to the NWFGS, and a bottled water in the afternoon.

Seating: Seats will be assigned from front to back as people register. So if you want to sit near the front do not wait to register.  Every effort will be made to sit friends and family together.

LEAVE THE DRIVING TO US:   Head to Seattle's famed Northwest Flower and Garden Show in the comfort of a luxury motor coach.  Leave the hassle of driving over snowy Snoqualmie Pass, Seattle's traffic and parking to your professional driver.  Plus, you get dropped off right at the Convention Center's front door, leaving you more time to visit all the displays! WOOOT!!   

Start your day at the Arboretum's Jewett Center enjoying a morning cup of coffee before boarding the motorcoach and heading to Seattle at 7AM.  There will be an optional pickup for folks living in Ellensburg at the Flying J Truck Stop.  Expect to arrive back in Yakima between 8PM and 8:30PM.

The theme for the 2017 show is “Taste of Spring" celebrating food, organic and urban gardening, sustainability, and a variety of culinary experiences, includng outdoor dining.  You will find the region’s top garden designers and landscape firms embracing the theme with their dramatic display gardens. It’s a rich palette of color and light, with thousands of blooming flowers and exotic plants giving showgoers a sneak preview of spring.

Complementing the eye-popping display gardens, find the “Small Space Showcase” presenting innovative, idea-generating small space and container gardens for those seeking inspiration for gardens on their deck, patio and terrace. The artistry of the area’s top floral designers is spotlighted in the “Floral Competition,” with lavish displays of artfully arranged blooms.

The Northwest Flower & Garden show is the largest event of its kind west of the Mississippi--and the second largest garden show in the United States, and it is only 2.5 hours from Yakima.  Plus, as an added benefit, a number of Yakima Area Arboretum staff NWFGS Vendormembers, and/or knowledgeable Master Gardeners, will be on board the coach to answer your gardening questions.
