Marketing Your Business 

This introduction to marketing will help you identify your marketing goals and options including advertising methods and public relations strategies. Most importantly, it will address how to retain customers.

This workshop is presented by a SCORE mentor with many years of experience operating an advertising agency and teaching marketing. He covers using research to inform your marketing and will teach you to carefully analyze the pros and cons of using various marketing methods. Customer service and retention are presented as being more cost-effective than finding new clients.

Steve has  30 years experience in the marketing and advertising industry with focus on consumer products and services. He served in account management positions as well as overall company management for regional/national/global advertising agencies and worked with clients from a variety of industries. For about 8 years he taught marketing and advertising classes at the university and community college level.
