Our December 1st Hands-on session follows our November lecture session, with a review of hygiene appointment time study sheets, video presentations and communication strategies for executing the "WOW" exam. Colleagues will team up together and practice their skills, learned in earlier sessions.

Patti DeMatteis, ASDH, RDH
Co-owner of DHE, Patti DeMatteis, ASDH, RDH, received her Dental Hygiene degree from Western Kentucky University in 1972. After 25 years as a periodontal therapist, she founded Dental Hygiene Excellence in 1997. Patti is a member of ADHA, ODHA, CDHA, a founding member of The American Academy for Oral Systemic Health, and a Preceptor for the Bale/Doneen Method for heart attack and stroke prevention.

Julie Cox, BSDH, RDH, EFDA
Julie Cox is a clinical consultant who practices as a periodontal therapist. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Ohio State University , as well as her EFDA certification in 2006.
