Climate Justice Workshop: Crafting Solutions & Stories

The Coalition of Communities of Color (CCC) invites you to join our second free workshop to learn about climate justice efforts and how communities of color and low-income communities can work together to advocate for equitable environmental and climate solutions.

In our last workshop, Climate Justice 101, we spoke about the root causes of climate change and shared its impacts in our communities. In this workshop, we will review these topics and hear about current solutions being considered locally. Together, we'll discuss how our communities can take the lead to ensure that proposed solutions are equitable and use the power of our personal stories to do so!

Which solutions lead with racial, economic and climate justice? How can you fight for equitable solutions now? Why is your story so important to this movement? Join us and learn about solutions from housing to transportation to polluter accountability.

The workshop starts promptly at 5:30 PM. Dinner is provided, and childcare and interpretation are available upon request with a week notice. Please contact Maggie Tallmadge at maggie@coalitioncommunitiescolor.org with any questions.

This event is free of charge, but everyone is encouraged to register for this event by clicking the link below. Priority is given to communities of color and low-income communities.
