      A family learning adventure

Join us for a great four-day family field studies in Yellowstone National Park with excursions and activities on geology, wildlife studies, regional history and controversies.  Science presentations and guided field studies will be based on a creation perspective. 

Itinerary

• ASAP:  Register with Family Academy; make reservations for campsites and/or motels to and from Yellowstone and in West Yellowstone and/or at Madison Creek campsites.  Info on options for lodging/camping will be emailed upon registration.
• July:  Pre-trip curriculum packet sent to all registering families 
• Sept 3-4:  Travel to West Yellowstone; optional excursions and places of interest will be included with curriculum packet to see either coming to and/or returning from West Yellowstone
• Sept 4:  Evening opening program, orientation
• Sept 5:  Hebgen Lake and Mammoth Hot Springs
• Sept 6:  Grand Canyon, Norris Geyser Basin, and Midway Geyser
• Sept 7:  Hayden Valley, Mud Volcano, Sulphur Springs, Pumice Point, and Old Faithful
• Sept 8: Petrified Tree, Lamar Valley, Beartooth Highway sites to Red Lodge
• Sept 9-10:  Return home; optional excusions  

Cost:  $375/per family program fee (Does not include family's personal expenses travel, lodging, and food).   If an individual student wants to attend separately from own (non-attending) family, the student must register as "individual student" traveling and staying with a participating family and pay individual student fee of $195 (costs for travel, lodging, food negotiated with hosting family).
