Is your business running you or are you running your business? How a business is managed and how it is able to compete within its designated market will determine whether it will survive. You will learn how to break down running your business into three parts: Operate, Navigate, and Communicate.
Simple Steps for a Well Run Business is a 3-part series with the opportunity to follow up with facilitated roundtable discussions of your topics supported by SCORE mentoring. You will learn the 1-2-3 Rule: 1) Know your customer; 2) Know what they want; 3) Give it to them. This rule will help you understand who is the most important ingredient in your business. You will also learn about the small business life cycle, where you are in the cycle – and if it’s where you want to be. For example, is now the right time to expand your business, hire more staff, or invest in resources to help deal with a larger client base? These are just some of the important items about growth and development, pertaining to the business life cycle, which will be discussed.
