Nominate a Small Business or Champion Today!

The Houston District Office of SBA is now accepting the nominations for the 2017 Small Business Week Awards. 

Since 1963, National Small Business Week has served as our nation’s salute to small business owners. Many household names were previous National Small Business Week award winners, including Ben and Jerry’s, Calloway Golf, Chobani, Dogfish Head, Stoneyfield Farm, Pacifica and Tom’s of Maine.

Award nominations should be submitted by mail or in person to the Houston District Office, 8701 S. Gessner, Suite 1200, Houston, TX 77074, Attn: SBWA Coordinator.  Deadline:  2:00 p.m. CST January 10, 2017.

Award Nominations Guidelines

Who may submit nominations?

 Individuals or organizations dedicated to the support of the small business community in the United States such as trade and professional associations and business organizations. SBA employees may solicit nominations, however, they cannot submit nominations on behalf of the nominee.
 Individuals may self-nominate with the exception of the Federal Procurement Awards for Small Business Prime Contractor and Subcontractor of the Year.

  3. Family-Owned Business of the Year 
  4. Financial Services Champion of the Year 
  5. Home-Based Business Champion of the Year 
  6. Minority Small Business Champion of the Year

  8. Women in Business Champion of the Year
