St. Louis STEM Bear Scout Program

At The Academy of Racing, we are committed to making an impact on the youth in our local communities. That's why we have partnered with the Boy Scouts of America to provide a fun, and interactive way to earn badges while learning about STEM education concepts.

Scouts will be broken up into groups of 12 and rotate through 4 stations to earn their Make It Move Elective and Belt Loop.

Balloon on a String: Newton's 3rd Law of Motion - for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
Pulleys: Demonstrate and explain the function and benefits of a pulley
Sailboats: Observing the way sailboats use wind power to propel forward
Racing: Each scout will get racing insturction and one race on a 1/4 mile track

The Program costs $25 per child and includes a race, Cub Scout badge and diploma. This is a 2 hour program, going from 9am - 11am. This event is associated with Wolf Scouts as well. If you have Wolf Scouts in your pack, please register them HERE.

If you are a Troop/Pack leader and need to register and pay for more than 5 scouts, please contact Elena@AcademyOfRacing.org

Registration will close the Wednesday prior to the event as we need a proper head count. There are no refunds if event is not attended.

THIS EVENT IS FOR BEAR SCOUTS ON FEBRUARY 4TH. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR THE RIGHT PROGRAM AND DATE, AS WE CAN NOT SWITCH YOUR SCOUT TO A DIFFERENT EVENT OR GROUP ONCE THEY ARE REGISTERED.
