We are very excited to be hosting our 16th Sixel Airports Conference in Melbourne, Florida!
Sixel conferences provide unique opportunities for you to meet and network with top airline planners in an environment in which small-to mid-sized airports are not only welcomed but valued.
The opening presentations on Monday, April 3rd, will offer air service information directly relevant to the airports in attendance, with a focus on airline updates by industry planners. Additionally, the primary purpose of our conference is to provide scheduled time for one-on-one meetings on Monday afternoon and all-day Tuesday, April 4th, between airport representatives and the airline planners who make decisions every day regarding air service levels in your community.
Networking opportunities include several entertaining events; occasions where you will be able to interact with airline planners, colleagues within the airport industry, Sixel Consulting staff, and management from the Orlando Melbourne International Airport.
The pre-conference event begins Sunday, April 2nd, at 10:00 AM, for the Melbourne Air & Space Show featuring the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds at the Orlando Melbourne International Airport. The welcome reception will officially kick off the conference on the Oceanfront Deck at the Crowne Plaza Melbourne with dinner and desserts to follow.
Monday's dinner, hosted by the Orlando Melbourne International Airport, will definitely be a fun filled event while we dine with the giraffes at Brevard Zoo. For those staying over Tuesday evening, expect a VIP tour of Embraer’s Phenom/Legacy production facilities before enjoying delicious Cuban flair at El Ambia Cubano for dinner. If you are interested in exploring Historic Melbourne, an informal Pub Crawl through the district will follow dinner.
We continually strive to keep our conference costs contained while providing a comprehensive three-day experience. Your registration fee includes all meeting room rentals, seven meals, and off-site transportation to events.
We also encourage spouses/partners/children to attend our social events, receptions and dinners, under our all-events rate package of $150 per person. If you plan to include your spouse/partner and/or children, please register them under the guest category and indicate which events they will attend.
