FREE Training Workshop
Wednesday, January 25th

In partnership with Boston Children's Museum and National Grid,
Cape Cod Children's Museum is hosting FREE Tinker training workshops for
local pre-schools, center-based and family daycare providers.

  • Tinkering allows children to develop their "skills of doing"
  • Tinkering engages children in "problem solving activities"
  • Tinkering encourages children to engage in "self-directed open-ended exploration" with a variety of materials.

After completing the training, participants will be prepared to conduct Family Tinkering Events at their own centers for their families.

Each participating center will receive a FREE Tinker Kit to use as inspiration for hosting their own Family Tinkering Event.

Each Tinker Kit contains:

  • Clothespins
  • Colander
  • Felt Squares
  • Funnels
  • Goggles
  • Measuring Cups
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Tongs
  • Sponge
  • Play Doh
    and much more...

2-hour Training Certificates will be given to all participants.

Pre-registration is required.
