InstaHunt at the Expo

Marketing Opportunity for NARI Members!

NARI of Greater Sacramento and Gary Brown Enterprises have once again joined together to help you better market your booth at the Northern California Home & Landscape EXPO (January 27th-29th, 2017) with the NARI InstaHunt! To participate, you must have a booth at the EXPO (*For information on reserving a booth at the EXPO contact Diane Christie - diane@homeandlandscapeexpo.com).

should be using it to market your business:

There are over 300 billion users, and that increases everyday!

NARI InstaHunt will be similar to a scavenger hunt. EXPO attendees must hunt for NARI member booths and post a photo of it on Instagram. The attendee who has all the NARI booths posted will be eligible for a chance to win a prize. This will gain exposure for NARI members and Gary Brown Enterprises on a popular social media platform as well as stimulate involvement from attendees.

How it works:

  • When registering (with NARI, not the EXPO) you will pay $50 for participating in the InstaHunt.  This will contribute to a prize for our winning attendee that is remodel related.
     
  • Before the EXPO our Director of Marketing will be sure your company is setup on Instagram and that you have your own hashtag.  NARI will also have a booth at the EXPO to assist you and to pass out maps for the InstaHunt.
  • Each NARI member who has a booth at the EXPO will have a distinctive marker (sign and balloons) that attendees and the NARI member must take a "selfie" with. 
  • Markers in each booth will be homogenous so they are easily recognizable to attendees.  The only difference will be the hashtag.  NARI will prepare, print and provide stands to display the signs.
  • Gary Brown Enterprises will advertise and market the InstaHunt on its website and other EXPO marketing materials.  This will include who is participating and the prize.
  • Attendees will post the photo on their Instagram with the member's, NARI and EXPO hashtags, and say something about the booth.
  • We will determine a winner by seaching for the NARI hashtag and tabulating which attendee visited the most booths.  In the event of multiple winners, we will do a random drawing of these attendees to determine the winner.
