Leeds Stumpthumpers Snowmobile Club (meets 2nd Tuesday of each month)
Official Poker Run Rules:
- Only adults ages 18 or older may play a poker hand (Identification may be required). Individuals under the age of 18 may attend the event but will not be permitted to play a poker hand.
- Event will be held rain, snow, sleet or shine.
- Participants may begin the Poker Run at any of the posted Poker Run stops.
- Although encouraged to, participants are not required to use a snowmobile for the event. Driving in a vehicle is permitted.
- If registration for Poker Run is not paid prior to the event the registration fee will be required to be paid prior to the dealing of a poker hand.
- Participants may only receive 1 stamp per poker stop (each stop has a unique stamp for the event). Participants will only be dealt up to 1 card per stop. Must visit a minimum of 5 Poker Stops to be dealt a poker hand.
- By visiting (5) poker stops a participant will be dealt 5 cards. If they made additional poker stops they may choose to discard cards, up to 4 cards and up to the number of poker stops that were made with a maximum of 2 trades total. For each discard the participant must make an additional $5 donation or a donation of 2 canned goods. (For example - someone makes 11 poker stops. When they arrive they will be dealt 5 cards. They may choose to discard 3 cards - they will give up 3 cards, receive 3 new cards and also make a $5 donation. They may then choose to discard another 3 cards - they will give up 3 cards, receive 3 new cards and make another $5 donation.)
- All participants must attend the dinner event, starting at 4pm at Reggie's Kawasaki in Leeds, to be dealt a poker hand.
- Poker hands must be turned in by 5:30pm; any poker hands that are attempted to be turned in after that time will be rejected.
- The following prizes will be paid out: $500 for the best hand, $350 for the second best hand, $250 for third best hand and $250 for the worst hand. Winner resumes responsibility for any taxes that may be incurred.
- Determining the winning hand will be based on 5 card stud in the following order: Royal Flush, Straight Flush, 4 of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight, 3 of a Kind, 2 Pair and a Pair.
- If a tie breaker is necessary there will be a one-hand playoff amongst those who tied, with the same winning hand determination as noted above. If the tie was for first place the 2 top hands from the playoff will win the top 2 prizes. If a tie breaker is necessary the participants who need to play in the tie breaker must be present.
- No alcoholic beverages will be permitted.
- No refunds.
- Restrictions may apply.
- Event administrators reserve the right to make judgement decisions on situations that may not have been anticipated and included in these rules.
