Wednesday-Riders may arrive anytime to set up and get settled.
Retreat workshops & activities will begin on Thursday morning at 10 am.
- Meet & Greet Social on Wednesday Night
-Group Campfire Chat every night
-Daily Workshops, Trail Rides & other activities on Thursday,Friday, Saturday & Sunday
-Natural Trail Obstacles located throughout the farm
-PPE Barn Party Social Potluck Dinner Sat. @ 7pm
Participants will be responsible for their own meals throughout the weekend. No concessions available.
Fees:
Workshops $75.00 each. (min of 1 to register)
You can select just one workshop or you can do them all. Discount on Complete Registration includes all 7 workshops at a price of $500.00 per rider.
Addtional fees:
Stalls $30.00 per night
RV hook up $30.00 per night
Shavings $7.00 per bag
Primitive camping is also available $10.00 per night
Haul In fee $10.00 (if hauling in for the day)

The privacy & amenities of the So 8ths is just the location to relax with a small group of equestrians. Enjoy sharing horsemanship with like minded folks along with other equine professionals in this beautiful setting.

Communication, Finesse, Obstacles
& Practice Challenge Courses all in one weekend!
2 Workshops offered each day sign up for 1 or more.
You will also have time to enjoy the grounds, play on the obstacles and have use of the many arenas. Offering different levels of learning for horse & rider.

We are excited to share that Joe & Penny Most were the Winners of the AQHA Trail Challenge Event hosted by AQHA in MO for the 2nd Year in a row! We spend many hours on the trail and enjoy riding all over the United States. Our goal is for you to enjoy your horse as much as we enjoy ours.
Advance your knowledge in all areas of horsemanship. For any discipline a confident horse is a safer horse. Being a confident rider creates a safer horse.
Different topics covered each day. Time scheduled in to enjoy the grounds and friends.
Ride as much as you would like during your stay. You can do all the workshops or select those special ones to participate in.
Trail Riding Workshops DEFINITION & DURATION -Trail Riding Workshops offer riding out on the trail where those who enjoy this activity are often faced with problems that can't be duplicated in an arena. Focusing on building confidence and staying safe. Mastering trail obstacles. Trail Ride Workshops will range from 1-2 hrs.
Horsemanship skills used in areas of trail riding, trail obstacles, dressage, reining, cattle work, horsemanship, ground work and liberty skills will all be a part of these workshops.
During the event you will have the opportunity to participate in equine demonstrations, class room/lecture events & spend time riding & working with your own horse with the coaching & guidance of professionals.
You can also ride and enjoy the trails of the farm during you free time as much as you like.
The So 8ths Farm has a long history with horses and you will feel the spirit of the horse everywhere on the farm.
We always try to throw in a few special guests and we have some really fun ones lined up for this event. More details to come.....
