Volunteer Speed Matching & Club Rush

If you weren't able to attend our Volunteer Speed Matching Event in January, don't worry! Any of the groups listed on the left would love the chance to tell you about their organization.  Just click on the name and find something you care about.

We will be holding another Volunteer Speed Matching event this Fall.

COMING SOON ... CLUB RUSH

NEWS FOR ORGANIZATIONS FOR NEXT TIME ...

Finding dues paying members is more difficult than it used to be and the goal of CLUB RUSH is to help connect people to causes they care about.

IF YOU HAVE MEMBERS ... We learned last time that potential members need more than 3 minutes to learn about your service club. Just like a fraternal rush, CLUB RUSH will allow people a chance to learn about your organization, what you do, who you serve and when you have meetings. If it's a fit, they then move along your traditional path to membership. Each organization will have a presentation table.

The Tustin Community Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce would like to invite your organization to participate in our VOLUNTEER SPEED MATCHING event on ________________ .With today’s pace of life, Speed Dating provides a safe, time effective & fun way for people to have 20 first dates in one evening and currently boasts a 50% success rate in bringing people together.  Finding your ideal volunteer has many similarities to finding your ideal partner.

We know that finding reliable volunteers gets harder every year and our hope is that VOLUNTEER SPEED MATCHING will put some fun into your volunteer recruitment.

IF YOU USE VOLUNTEERS ... We think you’ll find our VOLUNTEER SPEED MATCHING event a productive way to introduce new volunteers to your organization. The event will have all the elements of speed dating, with score sheets, stop watch & “daters” moving tables on 3 minute whistle sounds. We think you’ll have fun and, more importantly, we think this will be a great opportunity to promote “who you are and what you do” to a diverse group of local volunteers.  ONLY 20 ORGANIZATIONS CAN PARTICIPATE.

There is no cost to participate.  We anticipate your group sending 1-3 “recruiters” to man your table between 1 and 4 pm. If your organization uses volunteers and has members, feel free to register to participate in both events.
