CANCELLATION POLICY
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
Due to rising cost and expenses generated by students who register for our courses and do not attend without notification, it has become necessary to institute the following policy: In order to qualify for a full refund, students (or their employing agencies) must cancel no less than two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Cancellations must be received via e-mail, and/or fax to the attention of the course coordinator. A confirmation of receipt and a cancellation number must be obtained from the coordinator. No claims will be accepted unless the aforementioned is adhered to. Cancellations made within the two week time period are subject to a $100 fee. Substitutions of students may be made at any time. Please call us immediately if you have any questions.
NOTE: NO-SHOWS (INCLUDING THOSE WHO CANCEL AFTER 3PM ON THE THURSDAY PRECEDING THE COURSE) WILL BE INVOICED THE FULL REGISTRATION FEE

Social Media and Open Source Intelligence Research and Investigations 

This 5-day hands-on course contains new and innovative cyber-crime investigation methodology and techniques and is designed specifically for law enforcement personnel and those in direct support of law enforcement. Due to the sensitivity of this training, it is not available to the general public. Although this is an advanced level course, it will be presented from a law enforcement point of view. This will benefit those experienced (but non-technical) investigators wishing to attend. Investigators engaged in any aspect of cyber-crime will benefit greatly from this course. This course will cover a variety of topics including:

  • Social Networking & OSINT 101
  • Anonymization
  • Faecbook
  • Instagram
  • Twitter
  • Mobile Applications
  • Working with Photos and Video

 

Students are encouraged to bring their laptops to use in class.
