CANCELLATION POLICY
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
Due to rising cost and expenses generated by students who register for our courses and do not attend without notification, it has become necessary to institute the following policy:
In order to qualify for a full refund, students (or their employing agencies) must cancel no less than two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Cancellations must be received via e-mail, and/or fax to the attention of the course coordinator. A confirmation of receipt and a cancellation number must be obtained from the coordinator. No claims will be accepted unless the aforementioned is adhered to. Cancellations made within the two week time period are subject to a $100 fee. Substitutions of students may be made at any time. Please call us immediately if you have any questions.
NOTE: NO-SHOWS (INCLUDING THOSE WHO CANCEL AFTER 3PM ON THE THURSDAY PRECEDING THE COURSE) WILL BE INVOICED THE FULL REGISTRATION FEE
Homicide Investigations
This course will take the new and experienced homicide investigator through the different aspects of investigating a homicide crime scene. Other topics that will be discussed are profiling violent crimes, interview and interrogation techniques, crime scene reconstruction and analysis, as well as identifying and documenting bloodstain patterns. Special attention will be given to forensic investigations, homicide and death scenes, domestic violence homicides, police shooting-survival mindset, police involved shooting investigation and homicides involving children. Multiple cases will be profiled and discussed.
