Application to Attend 2017

Welcome!

This is an Application to Attend the 1for50 Annual Retreat and/or gcmEQUIP Conference 2017 to be held in Nairobi, Kenya.  The week includes the 1for50 Annual Retreat from May 22-25 and gcmEQUIP from May 25-27 (see below for a longer description of event options.) 

In order to include more younger/emerging leaders and strategically bring leaders from new nations, cities and regions, we have established a two-step registration process that involves regional invitations:

• Step 1: You must apply to receive an invitation by clicking the "Apply Now" button below.
• Step 2: Once accepted, you will receive an invitation to register for the conference. This invitation will include a registration code and link to a separate registration form which must be completed.

Please fill out this application to be considered for attendance or to recommend an emerging leader for participation in this event (click on “Apply Now” button below).  If approved for registration, each attendee will be responsible for:   

• Completing all additional registration forms that will be sent separately.   
• Arranging for all travel, transportation and expenses to Nairobi, Kenya.      
• Applying for and receiving a travel VISA to Kenya (if needed) no later than April 28, 2017.

A Week-long Festival of Equipping

Orientation Day (May 22, 9am – 5pm) - One-day orientation to the 1for50 movement, resources, vision, and training community for people new to 1for50 training or facilitation.

1for50 Annual Retreat (May 22, 5pm – May 25) - For regional leaders, trainers and partners involved in 1for50 training, facilitation, resource development, etc. Includes leadership meetings, regional meetings, work groups, introduction to new resources & more. 

gcmEQUIP Conference  (May 25, 5pm – May 27) - 3-day high-energy equipping conference for emerging and global leaders working in outreach and mission to children in their regions around the world.
