  •  Checkin:    Saturday, April 22, 2017 @ 4:00 PM
  •  Checkout:  Sunday, April 23, 2017 (park gate re-opens at 8:00am, can stay until 3pm) 

Tentative Timeline:

Saturday, April 22, 2017

  • Boating:  1:00pm-4:00pm (email Chad@menofarmor.com if you have a boat to bring)
  • Camp Setup: after 4:00pm.  If no one stays at the campsite on 4/21, we can setup early.
  • Dinner: 5:30pm - 6:30pm *(Bring your own food and self-prepare/self-cook)
  • Capture the Flag: 6:45pm - 8:00pm (*Bring some camo gear!)
  • Group 'Smores' (MOA provided): 8:15pm - 9:00pm
  • Dad & Son time: 9:00pm and beyond

  • Breakfast: when you wake up - 8:30am *(bring your own food)
  • Message / Worship: 8:30am - 9:15am
  • Check-out: you can stay at campsite until 3pm

Where? Jordan Lake Parker Creek Group Campsite

Cost? $15 for one father/son combo (additional sons are free)

  • Each father/son brings all their gear, food, supplies, etc.
  • Parking - no charge to park onsite.

Deadline to Register? First come, first serve, limited to 72 registrations.  If possible, please register online by Friday, April 21, 2017. 

Ages? Sons of any age are welcome but most ages will be 4-18.

What to bring? Everything you and your son needs to survive for the night! Details below.

Please note: there is no electricity on these group sites so bring some flashlights and a propane stove if you want to heat something.

 Items to bring: 

  • Tent (any size but smaller the better)
  • Sleeping bags
  • Food (self-provided) (fires located inside metal grills are available and allowed)
  • Flashlights (there's no electric on these group sites)
  • Clothing (bring some camo gear for "capture the flag" game)
  • Supplies, etc. 
  • Fishing poles?
  • Bible and pen or pencil
  • Firewood. No collecting of dead wood on the ground. Do not cut live trees or limbs from trees.
  • Propane heater (there is no electric on these sites). Cooking by fire or small propane grill is okay if you bring.

What not to bring?

  • Alcoholic beverages, firearms (including fireworks) and other weapons are prohibited.

If you prefer to be in the same "group site" with another father/son, please notify us in the registration. Otherwise, we'll assign you to a group site.
