Founded in 1995, the Illinois Creditor's Bar Association (ILCBA) is a statewide organization for attorneys practicing in the area of creditor's rights. Our members concentrate in various areas including: commercial collections, consumer collections, foreclosures, evictions, subrogation and bankruptcy. With over 200 members, the ILCBA provides members with opportunities to meet with one another to discuss pertinent issues in the practice of creditor's law. The Association has been instrumental in effecting the passage of legislation pertaining to our area of practice. Our members have testified before the Illinois General Assembly and currently we are discussing which topics should be included in our legislative proposals for the next session in Springfield.
