This year, the conference will officially begin on Wednesday, March 22nd at 1:00 p.m. and end on Friday at 11:30 a.m. By starting the conference Wednesday afternoon, the TEAM Planning Committee believes this will provide greater networking and educational opportunities for everyone. “B.R.A.K.E.S. – The Importance of Safe and Responsible Driving”

“Taking the Back Seat”
Presenters: Donna Corlew, C*Connect & Barbara Shuck, Wilson & Company
In this first of a two part series, this topic will help managers avoid tendencies that may stifle employees’ growth. Presenters will explore how to coach soft skills, be an engaged mentor, and effectively train employees. Young employees will learn how to accept leadership roles (and the accompanying advice).
“Taking the Wheel”
Presenters: Frank Lippert, Go Strategies, LLC & Grenee Celuch, Concord General Contracting, Inc
The second presentation will focus on younger staff stepping up to the plate and having the confidence to get into the driver seat. The presenters will dig into how younger employees can work with their supervisor to gain the skills to successfully take the wheel.
“NSPE: The Future of the Profession”
Presenter: Adam Stodola, PE, MSEM, Garver
This topic will answer the following questions: What does the future hold for Licensure and the role of the P.E.? What is the primary value of the P.E. in society today and into the future? How best can professional engineers engage with the public? How will technology impact the profession?
