Sunday March 26, 2017 through Tuesday March 28, 2017

This is the premiere Annual Public Policy Conference for California focusing on all things impacting the developmental disabilities community. Each year we work hard to bring diverse relevant topics that have current or future public policy implications for our community. Examples of topics include:

Lanterman Act history, California developmental services budget policy issues, senior and disability services, federal policy issues, affordable and accessible housing, Early Start services, voting rights, FASD, health advocacy, direct support professionals, media advocacy, employment supports and services, community living, long-term supports and services, California's Self-Determination Program, criminal justice, the Home and Community Based Services new rules, and so much more.

It's an important event for self-advocates, families members, community service providers, direct support professionals, regional center professionals, and policymakers from all levels of decision-making.  NOTICE: 30 scholarship applications have been awarded thanks to the generous donations from our sponsors - the application process is now closed.

Help support The Arc and UCP’s 10th Annual California Public Policy Conference, March 26, 27, and 28, 2017 through sponsorship contributions.  Every year we organize a popular, high-quality public policy conference in Sacramento and maintain a reasonable price thanks to the contributions from our sponsors.  Last year almost half of our attendees were leadership and management level community providers, and the rest are family members and self-advocates, direct support professionals, and private and government systems professionals and policymakers. This year we have the following levels for sponsorship:

Corporate Partner:  $7000
Full Sponsorship of our Mission: Corporate Partners are corporations, both for-profit and non-profit, who are committed to the success of The Arc California in its mission for full community participation for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.  These partners are listed in all printed materials as sponsors for our annual Public Policy Conference, our annual Direct Support Professionals training, one month of our weekly Monday Morning Memo, and can attend activities with our Executive Director and a lunch with our Board of Directors.   They will be introduced when the Conference convenes on Sunday morning.

Conference Partner: $2500
The Conference Partners will be introduced to conference attendees on Sunday morning. A Conference Partner will be listed on the cover of the program and on the sponsor page of the program.  An exhibit table will be available on request to promote your business/service, and promotional materials can be included in the conference packet.  A Conference Partner will receive two tickets to attend the conference and all events at no cost.

Event Sponsor: $1500
Event Sponsors will sponsor one of the following events: Sunday Lunch (March 26), Sunday Reception (March 26), Monday Lunch (March 27), and Monday Reception (March 27) and Keynote Speakers.  Event Sponsors will be recognized during their sponsored event and listed on the sponsor page of the program. In addition to promoting your business/service at an exhibit table, promotional materials can be included in the conference packet.  Requests to sponsor specific events will be honored as they are received.  Event Sponsors will receive two tickets to attend the conference and all events at no cost.

Community Sponsor: $1000
Community Sponsors will be acknowledged during the closing reception and listed on the sponsor page of the program.  In addition to promoting your business/service at an exhibit table, promotional materials can be included in the conference packet, and will receive one ticket to attend the conference and all events.

Scholarship Sponsor: $500 per scholarship
Scholarship Sponsors make it possible for families, self-advocates, and Direct Support Professionals to attend the full conference at no charge.  These generous donations usually result in 20-25 individuals being able to attend a conference they would not otherwise experience.  Scholarship Sponsors will be listed on the sponsor page of the program.
