NCBPA's First Quarterly Meeting

Join NC's leading energy efficiency, green building and high performance home and building performance professionals at this one-day industry event open to NCBPA members, non-members and partner organizations!

North Carolina Building Performance Association (NCBPA) welcomes you, your co-workers and business partners to register for our first-ever quarterly meeting being held March 28th in Raleigh.  

Attend to receive updates on policy and legislative activities, find new products and services in the exhibit hall, network with industry professionals and participate in discussions on key industry growth opportunities.

Agenda

The meeting includes sessions on vital areas to the success of your business including Policy & Legislation, Market Valuation, Modular Building, Residential Sales & Marketing, and Commercial Building Performance.

We will also be holding official meetings of our Trade Councils and giving you an opportunity to meet with our Industry Partners to discuss the latest innovations in the industry. Please see the preliminary schedule for the full meting below, with new seesions added

  • Appraised values: Listen to best practices for obtaining a higher appraised value on your high performance home.  Recommendations will be provided by a local "green" realtor, appraiser and builder!
  • Policy and legislation update: hear how you can contribute to and benefit from NCBPA's policy and legislative work including code, PACE Financing, rebates and incentives, and more!
  • Passive design strategies and construction techniques: learn how to get started on passive construction from industry expert Chris Senior!
  • New opportunities in commercial buildings: hear from local researchers, developers and consultants on what's next for high performance commercial buildings!
  • High performance construction tips, materials and techniques: learn from Pam Fasse how to increase customer satisfaction and profitability through high performance construction!
  • High performance modular home building: hear from industry expert Ken Semler on when you and your clients are ready to go modular!
  • Committee meetings for: crawlspace contractors, insulation contractors, commercial building contractors, workforce development and home energy raters
