President, Career Valet
After 10 years in strategic communications consulting in the private sector and federal government in Washington, D.C. and overseas, Marcelle Yeager forged a new career path when her husband joined the State Department's foreign service. During their first international assignment, she founded Career Valet, which is now a premier provider of career services that helps launch people to the next level of their career. She works mostly with mid- to senior-level professionals who she has helped secure executive roles, including a senior director who became the COO of a start-up, the CFO of a small firm who landed a VP role in a $12B company, and a communications leader who became the VP of global communications for a major technology and manufacturing firm. In 2015, Marcelle co-founded ServingTalent, the first recruiting agency that places both military and foreign service spouses in jobs. Marcelle holds an MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and a BA from Georgetown University. She is a weekly contributor to the U.S. News and World Report On Careers blog and has been featured in MONEY Magazine, AOL Jobs, Business Insider, Monster, MSN, and FlexJobs. She is a certified professional resume writer (CPRW).
