This 6-hr. seminar will address the very frequent issue of pain in injured workers. An overview of the biology and theories about pain will be covered, as well as a clear and comprehensive understanding of the MTUS and ODG Guidelines for psychological interventions directed at managing pain. Case material will be presented and discussed as relevant to the determination of causation, and the treatment and apportionment of pain in injured workers.
This seminar is designed as both a refresher about pain, as well as a guide to treatment of pain. Our primary presenter this year is Dr. Zara Ashikyan (Lic Psy 21081) is an award-winning Psychologist with expertise in the development of effective, evidence-based treatment programs for Pain and Sleep disorders and is a trained neuropsychologist.

The seminar is $450. An administrative fee of $25 is required if the participant desires additional Psychology Continuing Professional Education credit for the case consultation seminars.
